    My Expression shows the wrong date

    Issue Summary

    When producing a template that shows a date format, it can be very easy to plot the date using the minutes instead of the months.

    Resolution

    Please note the following syntax;

    • text(now(),'dd/mm/yyyy')

    This would give the following result;

    • Day/Minute/Year

    The syntax for months actually uses a capital 'M' and therefore the syntax should be as follows;

    • text(now(),'dd/MM/yyyy')

    This would give the following result;

    • Day/Month/Year

    This could be expanded to give you a full date and time of log production such as follows;

    • text(now(),'dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm:ss')

    This would give the following result;

    • Day/Month/Year Hour:Minutes:Seconds.
