If you are using line graphs on a borehole templates and you have continuous depth data like CPTs. If there are gaps in the depth data by default OpenGround will join the last know point and the top of the next point with a line. In some cases, this is incorrect. This guide will show how to set up a vertical brake on graphs in template studio to separate the points.
To make sure the graph presents the data and required you will need to open the report in Template Studio and go to the graph you need to make the change to.
At the bottom there is a vertical Break Box. This will select the using the depth at what point to stop connect point. For example, if have data ever 0.02 m and we set the vertical brake to be 0.02 then if there is a gap in the vertical data of more then 0.02 then it will not join the points.
The image below shows the example of CPT data being separated by pushes using the logic above and the vertical brake of 0.02.
