How To queue an AGS with attached Documents import

The Web Portal is capable of queuing data in different file formats, it can also queue AGS data with attached documents.

The process is slightly different to just importing a singular AGS file. As their will be multiple files they will required being zipped prior to queuing.

The below is the workflow for ensuring the structure is correct to import. It is important to note that if the document folder structure wasn't correct the AGS file would still be queued awaiting approved user import, however it would not contain any of the documents.

    Preparing files for queuing.

The AGS file and the folder containing the documents to be import queued will need to be zipped up prior to queuing.

Professional requires the documents to be contained in a folder called FILE. If documents were attached to Locations then inside the FILE folder would be separate folders for each location and inside that subfolder would be the document.

Finally Professional cannot read the FILE folder unless the "FILE" table is added into the AGS file. If data was previously exported with the documents option selected using Professional or HoleBASE SI then this table will already be added to the file, see below for an example:

    Queuing the Import

Select the project and press Upload Data to bring up the data import queue wizard. After selecting the appropriate file type. enter a comment and press browse. The zip folder should be able to be selected from the target location where it is saved.

Select this folder and then press start upload.

Once uploaded a user with the relevant permissions can import the data fully along with the attached documents.
