When importing data into OpenGround Professional, it is important to ensure that all of the data has the same precision in all incoming files. For example, note the below files which are for the Sample Information and Liquid and Plastic Limit tests.
In these files, the sample depth top, which is a key field shared between the 2 tables, has different precision. When performing a database import, Professional will try to combine these files together and do a check on the data to ensure that there are no 'orphan' records. As these fields are showing different results, this will return an error during import checking.
You may find that importing these files separately, with the samples being imported first, works successfully. This is because the sample information is already in the database and will therefore be treated as a value instead of a string, allowing for a successful match of data.
This is a known issue and a future fix to ensure that incoming data will be checked consistently, as a value rather than a string has been logged for consideration in the future.
