The output tag is used to tell OpenGround where the source data is to be translated into in OpenGround. This will always be the OpenGround group name as defined within OpenGround.
An output tag must sit inside of an Input tag. In the below image, the output group is the Project table in OpenGround;
An output can also have a Prevent-Duplicates tag. This is covered further in the expressions section.
