Bentley Account Administrator

Each organization has one or more Bentley Account Administrators.  Bentley Account Administrators are users within your organization who can set up connected users and assign them licences and permissions.

Login in and click on the "How are you CONNECTED?" link below your name on the https://connect.bentley.com/ page if you are unsure who your Bentley Account Administrator(s) are.

The Bentley Account Administrator has to ensure that

• The required users are set up and linked to their Bentley Account
• The users have access to download the OpenGround Launcher
• The users have access to OpenGround Licenses.

Adding Bentley Connected Users

A user must have a Bentley Account before logging in to OpenGround.  Users can be added by the Bentley Account Administrator using the User Management Console.  Further Information

Access to OpenGround Launcher

The OpenGround Launcher is downloaded from the Bentley Software Download center.  Access to this resource is restricted to users with the "Product Delivery – Download" role so you will need to grant each user access to this role if you wish them to download the OpenGround Launcher themselves.

Alternatively, you can download the OpenGround Launcher and store it at a location that your users can access without accessing the Bentley Download Center.

Access to OpenGround Licenses (Entitlement)

The Bentley administrator for your organization should ensure that OpenGround users have access to the relevant licences. A Bentley administrator can access the following link to manage these.
