    Downloading Location Data

No existing locations will be available for a project when you download it so you will see a blank "Locations" screen (as shown in figure a below).

Follow these steps to download an existing location:

    1. Tap the Download from Cloud icon   at the bottom of the screen (below a).
    2. Tap on the required Location(s) and then tap the Download from Cloud icon at the bottom of the screen.
Note: You can select more than one location and download them at the same time.
    3. The Location(s) will be added to your list of available locations and removed from the visible screen. Tap the back icon at the top of the form to return to the list of locations.

Follow these steps to add a new location (borehole or test pit):

    1. Navigate to the Locations list in the application and click the + icon at the bottom of the screen.
    2. The Add Location form will be displayed and you must complete the fields that are listed with the blue strip down the lefthand side.
    3. When you click into the Lat/Long field, the Latitude and Longitude fields will be displayed and the option to either type the numbers in or to add them using the device’s inbuilt GPS. If you select the Use Device Position then the application will ask permission to access the device’s Location and then automatically autofill the form. Click on the Checkmark at the top right of the form to save the GPS position.
    4. Once all the location information has been added, the attach picture form will be displayed that allows you to take a photo and attach it.
Note: The accuracy of the GPS is determined by your hardware. This may be a number of metres away from the actual location so it is best to check your hardware document to understand the accuracy of using this method.
