To add data to a step follow the instructions below:
Open the Step form by either:
Tapping on the + icon on the Step box in the Profile form or
Tapping on the edit icon on the View grid for the required Step.
The Data entry form will be displayed (as shown below). The first Header in the form will be highlighted and ready for data entry.
Enter the data for the item. Tapping "Done" or "Return" on the popup keyboard moves you to the next item in the list or you can tap on the item to jump straight to it.
Different keyboards will appear according to the data type of the Header you are entering data for.
Number field: Number Keyboard
Text Field: Standard keyboard
Pick List: Drop-down of items
DateTime/Duration: Date time picker control
Quick List: Quick list form (see
using quicklists
for more details)
Required fields are marked with a blue bar on the left hand side of the heading. These fields must be completed before the data can be saved.
If instructions for a header have been set up they will appear with an information icon to the top right of the header field. Tapping on this icon will display the instructions.
