Uploading Data and Photos

If a location has data on the device that has not uploaded to OpenGround Cloud then  will be displayed as shown below. To upload this data, ensure you have an internet connection and tap this icon. The following procedure will then be carried out

1. Data on the device that has not been uploaded will be sent to OpenGround Cloud. Note that data that has not changed since the last update will not be updated.
2. All the data for this location on OpenGround Cloud is then downloaded. This ensures that the device has the latest version of all the data.
3. The user will be asked if they wish to upload photographs. Photo file sizes can be large and If you are working on a weak mobile connection or a data plan you may want to upload these only when connected to WIFI. You can tap on the sync button at any future time to upload photos.
4. The  icon is displayed as shown below once photos and data have been uploaded to OpenGround Cloud.
