Working with Pictures

Attaching Pictures

• Permissions needed: Camera and Storage permissions are needed in order to take a photo. Please enable these when prompted.
  • Allow OpenGround Cloud Data Collector to take pictures and record video?
  • Allow OpenGround Cloud Data Collector to access photos, media, and files on your device?
• You can attach pictures to any data row using one of the following methods.
• Immediately after data has been saved: The administrator can set up a prompt to attach a photograph when you save the data. You will see a prompt similar to the one below if this has been set up.
  

Attaching via the photo interface:

To add a picture to an existing data item follow the steps below:

1. Select the item from the summary grid.
2. Tap the picture icon at the base of the form.
3. On the attached photos screen tap the + icon to add an existing picture or click on the camera to take a new picture.
4. Photos are displayed in the attached photos screen once they have been added. A document icon is displayed on the left side of the summary grid to show that the record has a picture as shown in (a) above.

Viewing Pictures

To view a picture follow the steps below:

1. Select the item from the summary grid – items with pictures attached will have the document icon in the lefthand column.
2. Tap the picture icon at the base of the form.
3. On the attached photos screed, Tap the picture to view.
4. Tap the magnifying glass at the base of the form.

Deleting Pictures

To delete a picture follow the steps below:

1. Select the item from the summary grid – items with pictures attached will have the document icon in the lefthand column.
2. Tap the picture icon at the base of the form.
3. On the attached photos screed, Tap the picture to view.
4. Tap the delete icon at the base of the form.
