Strata surfaces can be created with a single click of a button, the surfaces created are standard Civil 3D surfaces, they can be edited and manipulated using Civil 3D commands and are dis-played in the tool prospector like any other surface.

The Civil 3D surface will be created using the Style "KNX_Geotechnical Surface"; if this surface style is not present it will be created. The styles associated to the strata surfaces can be changed or edited.
