You can use the Replicate Point feature to copy the currently selected borehole and all of its dependent data to a new borehole. This is faster than copying and pasting all of the tables individually. You can also copy to multiple boreholes at once.
Click on the Point/Borehole tab.
Highlight the row of a borehole you wish to replicate by clicking in the blue cell to its left.
Select Tools->Replicate Point. You see the ‘Replicate Current Point and Dependent Data’ dialog box:
Enter ‘MW-2’ in the New PointID list field, and click OK.
In the Borehole tab a duplicate row appears, with a Borehole Number of ‘MW-2’.
Note: You could have entered multiple new borehole numbers, separated by commas or line breaks, and each would generate a new borehole record and dependent table records.
Click on another tab, such as Sample, then select ‘MW-2’ in the object selector. Notice that sample data has been duplicated from borehole MW-1.
Return to the Borehole tab, highlight the MW-2 row, and press Delete.
Click on the Lithology tab, and click OK in the message box prompting you to confirm deletion.
Note: The Replicate all dependent data checkbox does not need to be checked to replicate first-level child tables such as SAMPLE and LITHOLOGY. It applies to children of child tables, and so on.
