Problem Description

After installing a newer version of Internet Explorer or switching to a different PC, I am seeing this message on opening gINT:

Script Error
An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 1
Char: 7
Error: Invalid character
Code: 0
URL: http://www.googleadservices.com/...

The error repeats and then gINT opens.

Steps to Resolve

There are several ways to resolve this: 

Hide The Browser

You can hide the browser  by checking Hide web browser:

Change the Home Page

Change the browser's home page:

1. In the Address bar, type in a different URL.
2. Click Set as Home Page: 

Add 2 Web Sites to your Proxy Settings Exceptions

We are aware of one instance where neither hiding the browser nor changing the home page fixed the problem.  The user was able to resolve it by adding the web sites mentioned in the error messages to their proxy site exceptions.
