We would like to have the scale on our graph vary according to the data. How do we do this?
You can vary the minimum and maximum on both the X and Y axes on your graph. For our example, we will use a compaction graph and change the Y axis to vary based on the data.
Doing just this will vary the scale according to the data plotted:
But it could look nicer. You will notice the the largest and smallest values are on right on the top and bottom of the grid. It will look better if there is a gap between the data and the edges of the grid. Also, the numbers along the left side might look better rounded off.
