You can set the background color for non-required fields in Input. (Required fields are yellow.) Field colors are useful to guide the data-entry process or mark critical data for review in Input. This feature requires gINT version 8 or higher.In Input, you can set the background color of a field as a property of that field:
You can choose any color, but yellow and gray are not recommended choices, since these colors are used to indicate properties of the field. (Yellow fields are Required, gray fields are Read-Only.)For example, perhaps yellow and uncolored fields are to be input by an initial data-entry person, while light green fields are to be completed by a second person before reports are generated. Nothing prevents the initial party from entering data into the green fields, if it is available, but the second data-enterer sees exactly what should be completed before Output:
