Report Data from Non-gINT Databases

You can report data directly from non-gINT database files. 

Reporting data directly from a non-gINT database allows you to retain the data in the original database rather than exporting and then re-importing it into gINT. Because it stays in its original file, you do not have concerns about whether exported data still matches what is in the original file.


In the illustration below, we will be able to report data directly from the Access .mdb source file:

The Access file data is not available in the Input application, which still has the gINT project file “component.gpj” open. The report-generation capabilities of gINT are thus being used as a reporting engine with the non-gINT database supplying the data.
