    Filter Output to Report a Specific Subset of Data

    At the time of output, you can select which subset of data will be reported by using the filter capabilities on gINT.

    For Log and Fence reports, you can define the points that will be reported by setting filter conditions in the Output screen’s standard filter. 

    In the example below, we will report only those points that meet both filter conditions: 
    PointID (borehole ID) begins with ‘B-‘ or ‘CPT-‘ 
    Depth is greater than 25 feet

    The standard filter is a more sophisticated method than the Borehole ID selection, since it allows you to easily choose points using criteria other than the point ID. Graph and other report styles may allow you to choose a range of data within a particular point (as well as individual points) to report on, using the Output screen’s range filter. 

    In the following example, the only data that will be reported is from bedrock or sandstone layers in holes drilled by a contractor whose name begins with “A”:
