By associating border lines with text entities, borders can be printed around text generated from data, so the borders always have the desired spacing around the text. Simple borders can be drawn as ‘static’ boxes on a report form, but that runs the risk that the text will overrun it, especially when some or all of that text is generated from data. By including the borders as part of the text entity itself, gINT allows you to define the amount of white space between border and text for each of the four sides:
