    Using gINT Downloaded Examples

Most ZIP files in the downloads list contain four files. For example EXAMPLE.ZIP would contain:

    EXAMPLE.GLB

gINT library containing the report template(s)

    EXAMPLE.GDT

gINT data template to support the template(s)

    EXAMPLE.GPJ

gINT project database with illustrative data

    EXAMPLE.TXT

Comments and instructions. Please read after downloading and unzipping.

The .TXT file contains installation instructions. For our EXAMPLE.ZIP, this might be:

    INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

Copy EXAMPLE.GLB to the folder where you want it to be stored.  DO NOT merge with your current library.  We recommend placing it in the same folder as your main library file.  This is usually C:\Users\Public\Documents\Bentley\gINT\libraries.  However, you may want to store it on your network for access by multiple workstations.  After copying it where you want it, select the File:System Properties menu item anywhere in the program and switch the Library File to this file.  You can switch back to your usual library in the same manner.

Copy EXAMPLE.GDT to your gINT data template folder.  This is usually C:\Users\Public\Documents\Bentley\gINT\DATATMPL, however, it is important to install it in your gINT default data template folder.  If unsure, select the File:System Properties menu item.  The default data template folder is specified there.

Copy EXAMPLE.GPJ to your gINT project folder.  This is usually C:\Users\Public\Documents\Bentley\gINT\PROJECTS.
