Understanding What Lies Beneath

gINT Civil Tools is a part of the gINT family. It has MicroStation at it's base. It does not, however, require any other Bentley application to be installed to use, including gINT. It only needs a gINT project to import data. 

gINT Civil Tools enables users to import any data in an existing gINT (.gpj) file, and utilize it in 2D plan or cross-section, and 3D subsurface models. 

Users can quickly and easily identify subsurface conditions with their gINT data in gINT Civil Tools. Combine subsurface data with existing ground survey for comprehensive analysis.

Licensing

If you have a gINT Professional or gINT Professional Plus license, gINT Civil Tools Professional or gINT Civil Tools Professional Plus are available to you with no additional license purchases. If you have gINT Professional, you can download gINT Civil Tools Professional, and install and use it on the same PC. The same is trie for gINT Professional Plus. You must download the version that matches your gINT licensing.  

Two examples of how the licensing works are below:

• If someone is using gINT Professional on one PC, and gINT Civil Tools Professional on a second PC, it counts as two concurrent gINT Professional License uses.
• If someone is using gINT Civil Tools Professional Plus on a PC, it counts a license of gINT Professional Plus.

You can download the latest version of gINT Civil Tools from Bentley's Fulfillment Center.

Note: Select gINT and you will see downloads for gINT and gINT Civil Tools. Be sure to select gINT Civil Tools Professional or Professional Plus

When at the Fulfillment Center be sure to look at the title and level of gINT Civil Tools (and gINT) you are downloading.
