Where can the gINT Collector app be downloaded? 

• gINT Collector app is an Android based application that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store

How is gINT Collector activated (licensed)?

• gINT Collector requires an OpenGround Data Collector Visa Subscription. 

What is the hardware requirements and supported OS?

• gINT Collector is an Android app supported on v.8 and up. Both the tablet and the OS must be 64-bit. Refer to the Readme for more details.
   
  

What are the other required applications?

• The gINT Collector workflow requires the usage of the following applications:
  • gINT Administrator for building the data collection interface.
  • gINT CONNECT Edition Update 1 (10.01.00.11) or later, any edition ( gINT Logs, gINT Professional, gINT Professional Plus) to import the collected data. New functionality has been added in this version to connect to the Bentley Cloud services and import the collected data.
     

Is it possible to work offline? Where is the data saved on the tablet?

• It is possible to work offline with gINT Collector. When on the field, the connectivity might be unavailable. In this case, the collected data is stored locally on the tablet in a temporary folder. Once the connection is back, make sure to sync with the cloud.
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE: The Clear Cache functionality of your Android tablet will delete the cached data. If you clear the cache prior to sync with the cloud, the data will be lost.
  
  

What is gINT Administrator?

• gINT Administrator is a desktop application used for building the data collection interface. Those forms are linked directly to your gINT data model (database structure and list of values) so no data conversion is required. This application lets your customize the data collection interface to meet your needs.

Is gINT Collector and gINT Administrator sold as single license?  

• No. Neither are sold as a license. gINT Collector is a mobile app activated with a Visa and gINT Administrator is free of charge and can be downloaded from the CONNECT Center.

With gINT Collector, must the organization have ProjectWise as well?

•  No. ProjectWise is not required. All you need is to be a CONNECTED User and create a ProjectWise Project from the CONNECT portal. 

How do I create a ProjectWise project?

•  Please see this link for instructions on registering a ProjectWise project.

Why is gINT Civil Tools mentioned as part of the workflow? Is it required? 

• gINT Civil Tools can optionally be used to create drilling plans. It is the perfect tool to plan your drilling projects; by attaching imagery and referencing data, you can create drilling plan in advance, ready to be used by the field crew. This product is free when you use gINT Professional or gINT Professional Plus.
