    How to edit or add items to a Picklist

    Explanation

    If you wish to edit a Picklist or add a value to a Picklist please follow the steps below;

    Process

    Note: If you want to edit a picklist that is across all projects make these changes in the configuration pack following the steps below from step 1..

    If you want the changes to be in a single project, open the project as Administrator and follow the steps below from step 3.

    • Open HoleBASESI as the Administrator
    • Go to System>Confiruration Packs>Select your pack
    • Select "Manage Picklists" from the ribbon

    • Once the window opens highlight the picklist you wish to edit and select "Edit". Note that you can't edit the default values if they are already linked to data in a project.
    • If you want to add a new value to the list click on the orange bar where it says " + Click here to add new item" as shown below.

    • Then add the value for example "PS" and a description, for example "Piston Sample". Press "enter" to commit the addition and then "Save".

    Repeat this for each value you wish to add.
