How To Include Inclination in the level expression.

    Explanation

If you wish to include Inclination in the level column on the log you can follow the steps below to show the depth of the borehole in relation to the height above sea level including Inclination.

    Process

Firstly you need to create a custom field in the Location Details grid for "Inclination". To do this:

Login to HBSI as an Administrator

Go to System>Configuration Packs>Select the pack>Manage Model>Location Details>Edit>Add Header add set up the field as shown below:

Once you have that setup open your template in Template Studio and setup the Level cell to have the following expression and properties.

    Expression:

    fixed([LocationDetails.GroundLevel]-(fixed(Sin(([LocationDetails.Inclination]*3.141592653589)/180),7,false)*[StratumDetails.DepthBase]),1,false)

Following this save the changes and add the Inclination data to the new field. You should then find it works.
