How to do a basic Export of AGS data from HoleBASE SI

    Explanation

One of the main questions that the support team are asked by new users is how to get the data out from HoleBASE SI once it has been brought into the system. In the UK, this would generally be in AGS format.

    Process

Steps below will guide you through the steps on how to do a basic export of AGS data from HoleBASE SI

    • Login to HoleBASE SI
    • Open your project, by default HBSI will open the Location Details Grid
    • On the top ribbon click on the Data tab, then Export Data
    • In the Export Data window enter the Producers name and the Recipient name (please note this information need not be entered)
    • Chose whether this will be for Internal or External use, then click next
    • On the next screen please chose the file format you wish to export the data to, this can be AGS3.1, AGS4, AGS4 NZ or CSV
    • Browse to a location to save the file to, then click Next
    • In this screen you have the option to only export the data you require, this can be achieved by de-selecting any data or selecting Clear and then ticking the data you want to include on the export
    • Click on Next, again in this window you have the option to select the data you wish to export, click Next

The data will now be exported

    Further Information

If you wanted to export the data in any other format, just change the File Format drop down box to the correct format
