The incoming data file contains a column header which HoleBASE SI does not recognise. That is, some parameter has been included in the file which HoleBASE cannot determine where the appopriate place to store the data should be.
Create a new column in HoleBASE SI's database model and map this to the name of the header in the file.
1. Determine whether the change should be applied at Project or Configuration Pack level.
2. Click the 'Manage Model' button from the appropriate ribbon.
3. Highlight the appropriate grid for the new column of data and click 'Edit'.
4. Click 'Add New Field' header and define the new column.
5. Save the changes and then highlight the column.
6. Click 'Edit Mapping' and define the header name for the appropriate form.
7. Save the changes and re-import the file. The message on import should no longer appear and the data relating to the column identified brought into the system.
The following recording provides a worked example of how the process can be applied:
A warning such as this need not prevent the import of the reminder of the data in the file. If the unidentified column is not considered necessary the import process can simply continue. In this case, the unrecognised column will be excluded from the import.
