ASG file export has some random numbers in -2146826246

    Question

When I export an AGS file from KeyLAB there are sometimes random number like -2146826246. What is causing them and how can I stop them from being a problem?

    Answer

The numbers that appear in the AGS file are related to errors in the excel workbook which the fields come from. The error number can tell you which excel error you are looking for in your excel sheet. The Error number is made up of two parts, the first is common across all the error numbers, and the second part tells you the error you need to look for. The error number first part is -21468262/ with the last two digits identifying the error.

The table below shows the errors and the numbers relating to them.

ProcessIf you end up with one of these number in your AGS file you will need to go back to the excel workbook in KeyLAB and check the calculations are correct.if this problem is picked up when the data is imported into HBSI then you will need to go back to the producer of the AGS and let them know there have been some errors in the AGS data.
