When you report stage list data into an output sheet you get a single blue reference cell. From this cell all the staged data is reported. This article will explain how this work.
When you report this data, you will get the number of columns relating to the number of columns in the input which have data. This is then repeated for each stage in the input sheet. if the list is in the input sheet but empty this will also be reported into the output sheet.
The order of the columns will be the order on the input from left to right across all the tabs left to right.
If you know this, you can relate further calculations to this column layout.
If you add more columns to the stage list while running a test you will start to get some problems. If you add a column then when its reported this column will be added to the end of the stage columns. If you remove a column it will not be remove on the output as there is data already in the database. Both these things happen on a stage by stage basis. If you have opened and saved the first stage which has one more column, when you load the output you will find there is one extra column on the first stage. This will push all the other columns out by one which can cause a lot of problems.
