How to maintain a clean KeyLAB

Question

When you have a lot of schedules and project which are not complete (as in set to complete in KeyLAB) it can make it difficult to find the active projects and tests. It can also have the effect of slowing the program down when filling some windows.

Answer

There are three stages to cleaning up the projects in KeyLAB. The first is making sure the test are in their final status. The second is setting all the schedules to complete and the third is setting projects to complete.

Process

From the test window, you can make all test either approved (if the test was complete and the data was checked and reported) or restricted (if there was something wrong with the sample).

Setting the tests like this will let you set the schedule to complete.

When you set a schedule to being complete the test will not show in the test window. This will help with finding tests you are working with.

Setting the project to complete will keep the list of projects concise and easy to navigate.

This will help keeping KeyLAB relevant for the projects you are currently doing while being able to access the projects from the past when needed.
