How To Add Sample Types in KeyLAB

Explanation

If a project has a non standard sample type and its imported into KeyLAB you will get errors and it can become a problem. This also apply to adding samples manually.

Process

To add sample types to KeyLAB you will need to go to the AGS Administrator and select the version of AGS at the top of the dialog to be AGS 4.

Select the ABBR tab and use the group drop down to select SAMP_TYPE.

This will let you files import correctly but it should be noted that extra fields add to the AGS Admin will be produced for all projects and can cause problems for other importing the data from the Laboratory.
