XML file formats from your datalogger can be converted using the following functions.
Returns the value within a node in an XML file
command
XMLALLTABLEVALUES
Filenumber
The number of the input file as specified with the “SelectFile” Command
Name
The name of the element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed”
Type
“Parameter” or “Measurement” depending on the type of element you want creating in the XML file.
Node
The Node in the XML file that contains the table.
The following commands are written to help with VJtech XML script files
Returns value when the results are single values and not stored in a table structure. Most commonly this is dimensions or initial values for a test.
XMLSINGLENAMEVALUE
XMLname
The name of the column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvLoad”
<KYNCommand command="XMLSingleNameValue" XMLName="iLength" name="Length1" Type="measurement" Node="Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[1]/Results[0]" FileNumber="1"/>
Returns all the data in an XML table.
Example:
<KYNCommand command="XMLAllTableValues" XMLName="Time" this name="Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed" Type="parameter" Node="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" FileNumber="1"/>
Returns a single value from the data in an XML table.
XMLSINGLETABLEVALUE
ValuePosition
Position of the value to return. Options are “Last”, “10” (returns 10th value)
<KYNCommand command=" XMLSINGLETABLEVALUE " XMLName="Time" name="Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed" Type="parameter" Node="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" FileNumber="1" ValuePosition=”1”/>
Returns two sets of data from an XML table thinned based on the distance model.
Command
XMLThinnedTABLEVALUE
XMLname1
The name of the 1st column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvLoad”
XMLname2
The name of the 2nd column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvTime”
Name1
The name of the 1st element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolLoad”
Name2
The name of the 2nd element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed”
Node1
The 1st Node in the XML file that contains the table for 1st XMLname.
Node2
The 2nd Node in the XML file that contains the table for 2nd XMLname.
ThinnedDistancePercentage
Percentage of allowed deviation expressed as a decimal percentage of the maximum deviation of the dataset e.g. 0.5
<KYNCommand command="XMLTHINNEDTABLEVALUES" XMLName1="Time" XMLName2="Settlement" name1="Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsedthinned" name2="Stage_StageReadings_ConsolGaugeReadingthinned" Type="parameter" Node1="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" Node2="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" FileNumber="1" thinneddistancepercentage="1" />
Returns a single set of data from an XML table thinned based on the distance model using two different datasets.
XMLThinned3rdVALUE
The name of the 1st column to use for thinning algorithm. e.g. “ipvLoad”
The name of the 2nd column to use for thinning algorithm e.g. “ipvTime”
XMLname3
The name of the column to thin and return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvTime”
Name3
The name of the element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolLoad”
The 1st Node in the XML file to use for thinning algorithm.
The 2nd Node in the XML file to use for thinning algorithm
<KYNCommand command="XMLTHINNED3DVALUE" XMLName1="Time" XMLName2="Settlement" XMLName3="Settlement" name3="Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsedthinnednew" Type="parameter" Node1="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" Node2="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" Node3="/Clisp/Test/Specimen[0]/Stage[0]/Schedule[0]" FileNumber="1" thinneddistancepercentage="1" />
