With a Text file or CSV file, we can use the same functions. There are the same chunks with single values as well as arrays.
Returns value when the results are single values and not stored in a table structure. Most commonly this is dimensions or initial values for a test.
command
XMLSINGLENAMEVALUE
Filenumber
The number of the input file as specified with the “SelectFile” Command
Header
The name of the column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvLoad”
lefttext
Text to the left of the value you want to select
righttext
Text to the right of the value you want to select
Type
“Parameter” or “Measurement” depending on the type of element you want creating in the XML file.
name
The name of the element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Readings_ConsolTime”
<KYNCommand command="TXTSINGLEVALUE" FileNumber="1" Header="Company" lefttext="Date," righttext="," type="parameter" name="TestDate">
Returns a single point datum in an XML table. This is used for pulling out a single value from a table.
column
Column number for the data to come from along that line.
Delimiter
What text Delimiter is being used
A good example of this would be pulling out the last point or a known point in a table array.
Example:
<KYNCommand command="TXTSINGLEVALUE" FileNumber="1" Header="Horizontal Load" lefttext="1" righttext="" type="parameter" name="Hole ID" column="2" Delimiter=","/>
Returns all the data in an XML table.
TXTArrayValue
XMLname
Name
The name of the element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed”
Node
The Node in the XML file that contains the table.
<KYNCommand command="TXTArrayValue" column="1" Name="Stage_StageReadings_TimeElapsedMinutes" FileNumber="1" SectionHeader="parameters" TableHeader="Elapsed Time" type="parameter" delimiter=","/>
Returns two sets of data from an XML table thinned based on the distance model.
Command
TXTArrayValueThinned
XMLname1
The name of the 1st column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvLoad”
XMLname2
The name of the 2nd column to return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvTime”
Name1
The name of the 1st element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolLoad”
Name2
The name of the 2nd element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolTimeElapsed”
Node1
The 1st Node in the XML file that contains the table for 1st XMLname.
Node2
The 2nd Node in the XML file that contains the table for 2nd XMLname.
ThinnedDistancePercentage
Percentage of allowed deviation expressed as a decimal percentage of the maximum deviation of the dataset e.g. 0.5
<KYNCommand command="TXTArrayValueThinned" column1="1" column2="2" Name1="Stage_StageReadings_TimeElapsedMinutes" Name2="Stage_StageReadings_CompressionGaugeReading" FileNumber="1" SectionHeader="parameters" TableHeader="Elapsed Time" type="parameter" delimiter="," ThinnedDistancePercentage="1"/>
Returns single set of data from an XML table thinned based on the distance model using two different datasets.
TXTThinned3rdVALUE
The name of the 1st column to use for thinning algorithm. e.g. “ipvLoad”
The name of the 2nd column to use for thinning algorithm e.g. “ipvTime”
XMLname3
The name of the column to thin and return from the XML file. e.g. “ipvTime”
Name3
The name of the element to be written to the XML file. i.e “Stage_StageReadings_ConsolLoad”
The 1st Node in the XML file to use for thinning algorithm.
The 2nd Node in the XML file to use for thinning algorithm
<KYNCommand command="TXTARRAYTHINNED3RDVALUE" column1="4" column2="3" column3="1" Name3="Results_ReadingHorizontalForceKnTHINNED" FileNumber="1" SectionHeader="" TableHeader="Horizontal Load" type="measurement" delimiter="," thinneddistancepercentage="1"/>
