Pinpoint Mass Balance Problems with the Hydraulic Reviewer

Part of the Hydraulics and Hydrology Video Series (more info)

Have you ever encountered a challenging storm or sewer model in SewerGEMS or CivilStorm and wished you could easily pinpoint areas of instability? Did you ever wish you could report overflow volumes on a per-node basis? Did you know that the Hydraulic Reviewer tool can be used to help with this? To learn more, watch this short video. The video covers the following:

  • Reporting total inflow, outflow and overflow volume for specific wetwells, catchbasins, manholes and ponds
  • Identifying instability (volume deviation) for specific wetwells, catchbasins, manholes and ponds.
  • Identifying pipes with high deviation (change in flow from one timestep to the next)

Applicable products/versions:
•SewerGEMS and CivilStorm: V8i and higher (Implicit and Explicit numerical solvers)
