Questions about FlowMaster Installation, Error Exracting, code:1152

I have a question about FlowMaster installation. When I double click the .EXE, it shows 1152: Error Exracting .......msi to the temporary location. I've browsed the answers to this question in this community, but I still cannot find a proper way to solve my question.

  • Hello Yabin,

    Please see the following article:

    Error 1152 during installation

If you have already seen this article before, please check again as I have just entered a few more things to try.

If this does not help, please provide some further information:

    1) Exact version of FlowMaster you are trying to install

    2) Permissions on your computer (are you logged in as an Admin?)

    3) Exact Operating System (for example Windows 10)

    4) Copy of the installation log file. See steps for how to do this here.

  • 1) FlowMaster version is 08.11.01.03
    2) I double clicked the .exe as an Admin
    3) My OS is Windows 7 64-bit and it's Chinese language
    4) I tried the steps to get installation log file, but got the same error information code:1152, and I couldn't find the Temp.txt file.
  • Hello Yabin,

Thanks for the information. However, I am unclear on the result of the other steps outlined in the article.

Have you tried rebooting your computer?

Have you also tried a right click > run as admin?

Did you clean out the Windows temp folder and confirm that there is sufficient free space?

What happens when you extract the contents of the installation file per the article and run the components separately? Does it continue to fail? If so, which component?

  • Hi, Jesse

I still do not solve this problem. I've tried many ways, such as right click - run as Admin, ensure enough memory for extracting. However, the problem remains.

When I use 7-zip to extract the installation file which is a .exe file, I just don't know what components are and I can't open them. I don't know when the .exe installation file is extracted, what components should be there.
  • Hello Yabin,

Is 7-zip not working only for the installation files or its not working for any other files on your system?
If its not working at all, then you may want to try with Winrar.
