Off Elevation is less than or equal to the On Elevation

pumpstation edit.zipHi

I am working on one of the Hands-on training in the "SewerGEMS/SewerCAD, Sewer System Modeling (metric)"Catagory as "Gravity and Pressure".

I did all of the instructions one by one but I am getting an error as"Off Elevation is less than or equal to the On Elevation"

Please let me know what should I do?

Thanks

Hamid

  • Hamid,

Have you checked to see if the Off elevation for your pump is less than or equal to the On elevation? That's what this user notification refers to. You should also be able to right click on the user notification that you are getting and choose the "Zoom to" option that will bring you to the pump where this issue is occurring. After that look under the section called "Operational" for elevation on and off controls.

  • Thanks Mark, you are right but I am just following the instruction in that file one by one and I don't see anything for on/off elevation over.
Please take a look to the attached zip file and attached link of the video.

    Best Regards,

  • Hamid,

The links in your post above both point back to this forum post, so I'm not sure what hands on training you were looking at. It seems like maybe the instructions could have been written for a previous version of the software than what you are using and perhaps that's the issue, but I can't confirm without seeing the link to what training you are looking at.

Regardless of the above, did my suggestions resolve your issue?

  • Hi Mark

Hands-on training in the "SewerGEMS/SewerCAD, Sewer System Modeling (metric)"Catagory -"Gravity and Pressure" part.

    Thanks

  • Hamid,

Do you have a link to the hands-on-training, so I can have a look at it without having to search it out? Also, did my suggestions resolve your issue? I want to confirm that you were at least able to workaround the problem you were having, while I investigate the documentation that you are looking at to confirm that my assumption of the problem was accurate.

    Regards,
