Drop of the manhole

HI,

In Sewergems , i want the value of the drop of the manhole doesn't exceed a specific value .

for example if there is a drop with value 2 m and i want 1m to be the max value , so if i want to make this manually i will make many drops before the original drop with small values till when i reach the original drop it will be less than 1 m .

in the attached picture , the red line is the current situation , and the blue line is what i want to do .

  • We don't have an option for 'maximum drop'. Normally designers want to minimize the cover where possible (since that minimizes excavation costs), but that isn't the case in your diagram.

Can you explain a bit more about why you have this constraint on drops of 'not bigger than 1m' ?

    Regards,

    Mal

  • I don't want to make a drop more than 1 m "if possible" because i don't want to use " a weir " in the execution of the manhole .
So if i make many drops with small value , the drop will be less than 1 m at the end .
example :- if there is a drop with 2 m(branch with low elevation will be connected to the main line with high elevation ) , so if i make two drops with say "0.5 m " before it , the required drop will be "1 m " (i just divided the value of the required drop on many manholes not only one )

do you understand me ? or you want to explain more ?
