Hi I am using SewerGEMS for Civil3D for the first time. Two Questions In the AutoCAD environment, when I use the selection set, the selected items are not very visible. In the stand alone version the pipes turn red when selected and easy to identify. Can it not indicate selected pipes with say grips like in Microstation/Autocad environment? 2. Is it possible to create long sections from the sewergems pipes with Civil3D functionality? Regards Rossouw

You can export the model into a Landxml format, File>Export >Landxml and then import the Landxml file into Civil 3D to generate the long sections using your Civil 3D long section templates.

I am using SewerGEMS for Civil3D for the first time. Two Questions

The grips only work with items drawn with AutoCAD, such as lines, boxes, etc. They do not work on the SewerGEMS elements.

Please explain more of what you are trying to do in question #2.

Hi Terry

I want to to use the Sewergems conduits and manholes to create long sections within Civil 3D (not the sewergems Profiles). We have existing standard long section templates in Civil3D. Would Civil 3D pick up intelligence from SewerGEMS conduits and Manholes?
