WaterCAD V8 XM-Import Excel

How can I import an excel file that contains flow data for each node?

Thank you!

  • Hello,

You can use Modelbuilder to do this (under your Tools menu), using "Excel 8.0" as the source data type and "junction - demand collection" as the table type. Make sure your spreadsheet has columns for the junction label and base demand. If you have a column for the pattern label, make sure that you've defined those patterns inside your model first (Components > Patterns). You can link these to WaterCAD in the third Modelbuilder step.
