I saved cad files as .dxf and also 2004 .dxf but when I use ModelBuilder to import the files I get the error message "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."
The 2004 .dxf file is 2.6MB and has nothing but the water lines in the cad drawing. I'd appreciate assistance. Thanks.

Ricardo, It looks like we had someone run into a similar issue a few years ago in this post. communities.bentley.com/.../89803 Her solution was to make sure she was doing a File > Save to .DXF or File > Save As. and then choose a .DXF version to save to. You can find the wiki for this solution here. If that doesn’t work there are directions below to upload your .DXF file There are two options for sharing your model files on Communities. If you would like the files to be visible to other members, compress the files into a zip file and upload them as an attachment using the ‘Advanced Reply editor’ before posting. If your data is confidential, you can follow the instructions in the link below to send it to us via Bentley Sharefile. Files uploaded to Sharefile can only be viewed by Bentley. communities.bentley.com/.../7079.be-communities-secure-file-upload Regards, Mark
