I can not see toolbars in ArcGIS for WaterGEMS

Question

I can not see toolbars in ArcGIS for WaterGEMS. If I look in the Customize - Commands portion I see Bentley WaterGEMS and options for all the commands ("active topology selection", "add existing project", etc...) but in Toolbars there is nothing. How do I find?

First thing we need to do is make sure that WaterGEMS is integrated with ArcMap. It should integrate if you have compatible builds. Is you installed ArcMap after WaterGEMS and you find that the builds are compatible, run the integrator again. On a Windows 7 operating system, you would go to Start > All Programs > Bentley > WaterGEMS > Integrate with AutoCAD, MiscroStation, ArcGIS.

Are you saying the toolbars themselves don't have anything on them or are you saying that you can't locate the toolbars? If you can't locate the toolbars then you should have a look at this wiki solution:

If the toolbars are blank then I'll need to know what version of WaterGEMS you're using and what version of ArcMap you're using. 
The version number can be found by going to HELP > About WaterGEMS inside your program and locating the number in the lower 
left hand corner and may be in brackets. It should start like this 08.11.XX.XX where X are some numbers.

Please try this: 1) Delete the WaterGEMS for ArcMap icon. Then go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\WaterGEMS" and locate the 'Haestad.Integrator.exe' file. Right click on that and choose "Run as Administrator". Next open WaterGEMS for ArcMap and see if that helped. 2) Start the computer in Safe mode if the first idea didn't work and then try the same thing. 3) Uninstall WaterGEMS using the clean uninstall and reinstall information. found in this link:

 Upon the reinstallation right click on the WaterGEMS executable file and choose to "Run it as administrator". Make sure your antivirus software is shut off during the reinstallation and then after the reinstall of the software use the same process for the patch set. If those steps don't work there's a file that might help us assist with troubleshooting your issue. The file is called "ArcMap.exe.config" and is typically found in the ArcGIS install folder (probably something like C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.3). This might have clues that we can use to troubleshoot the issue.
