section type change during design in storm cad from circle to box

Hello,

when i am trying to design a network and i have in the conduit catalog both box section and circle section, during the design all the pipes are assumed to have section type of circular section so the software picks only sizes from the circular conduit, further more i have discovered that when i change the catalog class one by one it changes the section type from circular to box other wise if i use global edit it will not change the section type.

my question is how to make the software picks from two different catalogs (one is circle section and the other is box section) ??  and what is the priority to choose from different catalog classes ?

regards

  • What is the version of StormCAD that you are using?

Software will pick up the sizes for conduits, from the catalog class specified by you.

Could you please upload a  copy of your model?
