I'm new to this matter so please bear with me.
Currently, we are designing sewer networks on sewergems and then pass-on the relevant data to another team that generates the detailed design plans including layouts and profiles. However, the format, scales and other contents do not generally match the ones generated by Sewergems due to how the contents are arranged on the plans. This drastically increases the time to generate the plans as everything has to be done manually.
Given that all the relevant data (e.g. invert elevation, slope) is already in Sewergems, is there an easier way to transfer that data and generate plans in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D with the ability to customize how they are presented (e.g. differing scales, matchlines)?
Hello Benson,
You can change the scale of the layouts, by going to Tools>Options>Drawing.
Also you can export the engineering profile from the Profiles tab, which provides profiles which are suitable for drawing purposes.
Please see below wiki's, they might be useful to you.
