How does Watergems CONNECT Edition handle multiple demand adjustments (via Calculator Options) applied to the same element?

If you have multiple demand adjustments accomplished via the simulation calculator that cover the same elements, in what order / priority are the multipliers applied?
The specific case is presented: using an Entire Network multiplier to adjust the system to a given demand, and then tweaking individual areas by using additional selection set based adjustments.

  • Hello Jeremy,

After testing, the program will apply all of these to a node. For instance, if a junction with a demand is in both "Entire Network" and "District H", the program will apply a multiplier of 0.35 to the demand (multiplier = 0.7*0.5). Given this, you will want to make sure the appropriate values are included for the multipliers to make sure that the right demand is generated at the end of it.

    Scott
