.inp file open problem

Hello,

It looks like the .INP file is having issues itself with the pipe geometry.

Could you please check the model first in EPASWMM or InfoSWMM from where you are exporting the model and check for data entry errors. The model have to be complete in terms of the geometry,connections to be imported into SewerGEMS.

So far we have seen below mentioned issues with the .INP import.

Thank You Sushma, your reply led me to solution, I have exported the model from infoSWMM as .inp file, then I open it successfully in SWMM5.1. But when I tried to open in it in Bently SewerGems it was imported smoothly but I got this shape ( as per snapshot via below link)

After you export the model to an INP file in InfoSWMM, make sure you then open the INP file in EPA SWMM5.1 and save it. After doing that, try to open or import the INP in SewerGEMS. If that doesn't help, then please provide the INP you exported from InfoSWMM for us to test with using one of the options explained in this article. Also provide the SewerGEMS version number you are using (explained here).

In general - the problem you see in SewerGEMS is due to the polygons missing their geometry. So, they are all imported with a default shape at a default location, yielding what you see in the screenshot you sent. This could mean that the catchment information is not making it across correctly from InfoSWMM to EPA-SWMM, or the catchment information is not defined properly in EPASWMM and so is not making it across to SewerGEMS. Taking a look at the file in EPASWMM itself is surely a good first step as Craig suggested. I believe the latest version is 5.1.012. If you are seeing the catchments with the right shape in the right place in EPA-SWMM itself and if you've confirmed that their geometry/location is set up correctly in EPA-SWMM, then we would indeed need to see the INP file to test on our end.

I got it solved by exporting InfoSWMM model as *.inp, then I have opened the file in EPA SWMM 5.1 and Save it as different name, when I opened it in SewerGEMS SelecetSeries 5 it worked successfully
