When I load demands into watergems they are all loading on one point in the model. When I open this same shapefile in arcmap all the points project where they should. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?
Hello Kyle,
One thing you can try is to load the shapefile with the loading data on it as a background layer. This will allow you to confirm that the shapefile data has the same X:Y coordinates as the model files. If they do no line up, you will want to try to adjust the shapefile so that it has the same X:Y coordinates as the model.
If this doesn't help, getting a copy of the model files and the loading data will be useful. You can use the steps in this link to send the information. If you send this over Sharefile, please post here with the name of the file so that we can find it. Also let us know what LoadBuilder method you are using and any other relevant details.
Regards,
Scott
If all loads are seen in one node after running Loadbuilder, it is an indication that the model is not lined up with the related Shapefiles, as Scott mentioned. In that case, all features in the shapefile may indeed be closest to one single node on the outside edge of the model.
