Creating a hydraulic grade line along a path of water pipes in WaterGEMS v8i

Question

Hi, 
 
 I am running a water network model. As part of the model there are some gravity lines between different command reservoirs around the city. I am trying to create a hydraulic grade line graph along the length of a pipe, or several pipes along a path in WaterGEMS V8i. 
 
 All that I've managed so far is to get the hydraulic elevation at the start and end of a particular pipe. Can anyone help?

Hello, 
 Try creating a profile in WaterGEMS by going to View > Profiles. You will be able to select a path of pipes and view results, such as hydraulic grade and pressure. The following link has more information on profiles: Working with Profiles in WaterCAD and WaterGEMS . 
 Please note that WaterGEMS always assumes that pipes are under pressure and is not really designed to model gravity pipes. The storm-sewer products, like SewerGEMS are better suited for this. SeweGEMS is able to model pressure and gravity systems.
