Information SewerGEMS

Hello,

In SUEZ Group we are looking at models that can consider the sewerage system and the WWTP and how they interact and impact to the receiving waters (rivers or marine waters).

If two approaches can be considered:

  1. Investigating a stand-alone software able to model the three subsystems: sewerage system, WWTP and receiving waters (river and marine).
  2. Considering a software to model the sewer system, the WWTP and the river waters and building connectors to link the marine software in real time if possible.

Our goal is the first approach, but is seems difficult to find a stand-alone software that integrate the marine system with urban systems and that's why we do not completely move aside the second approach for the specific case of marine receiving body.

We would like to know whether SewerGEMS or any other software you develop:

  • Could reproduced every subsystems or not? If not which one are included?
  • Has a model library description manual that details the models included (for catchment and sewer hydraulics (detailed, conceptual…), treatment processes…)
  • Has an open access to the model library or not? Allows to modify the model library? If possible, what is the programming language used?
  • Is supported by windows server 2012? Windows seven and ten ?
  • Comes with control capabilities (PID or others…)?

We are wondering SewerGEMS (or other software if more suitable) could be tested through a free/demo version for one or two months?

Lastly, could it be possible to have an estimation of the license price for STOAT in its most integrated version?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
