I am trying to import GIS data into SewerGEMS, and I am getting this error.
In the Model Builder tool, I select the appropriate files, work through to the "Specify Field Mappings for each table" section, and select what Property is appropriate for each (but not every) field.
Then, when I go to build the model, I get this error:
I can find nowhere that directs me on what the correct format is, and no direction on what specifically is not correct.
Help?
Hello Mike,
Please try to apply that shapefile in the background to check if it is giving any error there, confirming its not issue with the shapefile.
Which version of SewerGEMS are you using? And you are importing GIS data for which elements, or creating a new model?
Please upload the shapefile for our review.

Hello Mike, I see that the error mentions Snapshots. Did you configure the snapshots feature? If so, can you tell us a bit more about how you set it up and are using it? Can you provide a screenshot of the related ModelBuilder step? Is this the first time you've used this snapshot feature for this file, or are you updating the model from the GIS? Does it work if you disable snapshots?
Generally speaking that is a generic error that can happen when the program was expecting data to be of a certain type (such as numeric vs. text vs. date). The problem could be related to something specific in your model, your dataset, or how ModelBuilder was configured to work with the data. Providing screenshots of the ModelBuilder steps, and a copy of both the model and the GIS (shapefiles?) would be very helpful in troubleshooting. Please also include the ModelBuilder connection file (.MBC) as explained here. This information can be sent via one of the methods explained in the article Sushma previously provided.
