Can u please explain how installation year affect the network performance? Or does the software doesn't take it into consideration?
Hello Vishal,
The installation year is more of an informational property. If this is a field that is required in a report, you can include the installation year in the properties or add this field to your flextable. However, it doesn't really impact the hydraulic results or performance of the computation.

Scott
Hi Vishal,
As Scott mentioned, the installation year does not affect general calculations.
However, the installation year can be helpful for creating pipe break groups for a Pipe Break Analysis.
The Pipe Renewal Planner can also use the year installed field as a discrete aspect. This tool can consider this field when computing "Pipe Scores" for each pipe.

As explained by my colleagues here, Vishal, the Installation year wont directly affect the hydraulic performance. if you wish to model the impact of age of the pipe and check the hydraulic behavior of the network, i would recommend you calibrating the model for Roughness (Hazen Williams C Factor),
Happy modelling,
