Hello ,I would like to create an animation shows the pressure changing over 72 hrs. in my network and may record that animation to send it to someone else or archive it for future references. Would you please guide me to the steps!Thank you,Zaid
Hello Zaid,
The following article contains steps to create an animation, including a video demonstration.
Using the Record Animation feature to record and play back videos without any other software

Hello Craig,
Thank you for your reply. I cant find the Timer Browser whether under Home of Analysis tab in WaterCAD Connect Edition Update 1Vi8 ?
Thanks,
Zaid
Zaid Subhi said:If I need to specify that video for showing pressure changing overtime, what are the steps required?
1) Set up the pressure color coding.
2) Zoom to where you want to record (or zoom extents if you want the whole model)
3) Open and configure the record AVI tool in the Time Browser
4) Press the record button - the animation will start, the colors will change accordingly and the video will be recorded.
See the video at the bottom of the article that Craig had linked to.

Thank you for your reply. I have set up the pressure as shown in the screenshot (Red <0 and green between 0 to 80 psi), and started recording, but I couldn’t see the changing in pressure at those nodes, even I know that pressure drop below 0 for about three hours during the day.
I have attached the recording as well. Did I miss doing or implementing any other steps?
Thanks

You set the junction color coding to use "Pressure (Minimum)". That field is the minimum pressure throughout the entire simulation and will not change with time. Try switching the "Field Name" to "Pressure", which will display the pressure value at each timestep.
You might want to make the "Above Range Color" different than the color used for values less than or equal to 0psi to be able to tell the difference.
The following article may help.
How do you add color coding to an element?
