Seepage conduit results (SewerGEMS)

Hello,

I'm using SewerGEMS V8i (Explicit solver/dynamic wave) to model stormwater network. In the network there's a few perforated pipe used to infiltrate stormwater into the surrunding soil. I tried to set a seepage loss rate to a conduit, but I can’t find the results. Where are the flow results for seepage ? Or does anyone have a suggestion how to model theses pipes ?

Thanks

  • Hello Marie-Jolle,

As mentioned in the help documentation only SWMM solver supports the conduit loss calculation among the four solvers. However after specifying seepage loss rate in conduit properties results for seepage loss at each time step using the loss rate and conduit flow area (based on the length and wetted-perimeter) are not seen in either in conduit properties or Explicit-SWMM solver detailed report. (as mentioned by you in description)

Please allow us some time to discuss this with the development team and get back to you.

However when you enter seepage loss rate in conduit properties, reduction in total flow coming out of conduit is seen due to seepage, however exact seepage loss needs to be mentioned in the results.
